Save The Waves

Content Campaign

Our Vision: A world where surf ecosystems are valued and protected, and where surfing provides a vehicle for long-term coastal conservation.

Our Goal: To protect 1,000 surf ecosystems by 2030.

At the heart of the World Surfing Reserve in northern Baja, the San Miguel watershed is a critical riparian ecosystem that contributes necessary sand and cobblestones to form the classic wave at San Miguel. Approval of the proposed 67 hectare Arroyo San Miguel State Park will protect 6 kilometers of watershed and the famous wave that breaks there. Swan Dive Media worked with Save The Waves to develop this short film utilizing sourced footage from Baja-based film shooters and share the story in both Spanish and English text.
